However, because the target month (February) precedes the birth month (August), we subtract one year, leaving 39 full years. We then count the months from August to February, which gives us 6 months. Lastly, we evaluate the days. Since the target day (10) is smaller than the birth day (24), we borrow one month (leaving 5 months) and add the days of the previous month (January, which has 31 days) to the target day. We now subtract 24 from 41, resulting in 17 days. The final calculated age on that specific date is 39 years, 5 months, and 17 days.
